The South Mastick Trail is mostly flat with a few elevations. This 2 mile trail run is welcome every level of runner! The trail can get very muddy if the area had rain before or is raining (as we know from last year) This first race will be an introductory to trail running and the Full Moon Trail Series. We will have an info sessions before and after the the race as well as a cook out. This is your time to ask questions and prepare for the next 3 races.

The Rocky River Reservation 3 Mile trail you will experience many types of terrain and mixed surfaces. In this 3 mile run there are many hills, stairs, and elevations which make the course challenging. This run will help you get an expectation to what the next 2 races will be like.  


 

Egbert Picnic Area-Bedford Reservation

The Bedford Reservation trail uses the well known Buckeye Trail as well has a few different mountain bike trails. In this 4 mile run there are all different types of terrains. This is a fun and scenic trail but can get congested during the Mountain Bike Trails.  Please make sure you are respectful of the other runners and if you know you will be going slower, please stay to the back of the start line.


 

Virginia Kendall-Cuyahoga Valley National Park

The Virginia Kendall Trail run is tough and will challenge you! In this 5 mile run, there are many hills and they are steep! The terrain has many different types- paved, rocky trails, grass, stairs, areas that are slippery if wet and so on. You will enjoy the scenic views of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It will get dark as you run, we highly suggest bringing a head lamp!
